Away partnered with Pantone to release an exclusive capsule collection featuring the color authority’s 2020 color of the year: Classic Blue. Our challenge was to create a visual concept and identity for the collection to be teased and launched on the brand’s e-commerce website and social media channels.
We chose to evoke the world of the audience Pantone caters to, namely graphic designers (like us). In collaboration with artists Wade+Leta, we created imagery that was bold, striking and hinted to graphic languages, design elements and print proofs. With this foundation in place, we then shot lifestyle photography in the streets of NYC where Classic Blue comes to life.
