Away asked us to launch their new aluminum color ways through an attainable yet aspirational lens. For inspiration, we turned to the colorful glow of neon lights we see around the world. The same lights that welcome weary travelers and keep city locals buzzing. The kinds of lights that glimmer with the satisfaction of knowing your favorite sushi spot, your favorite bar, even your favorite laundromat are open. We then gave each color (Onyx, Rose Gold, Champagne and Silver) a personality of its own. The Rose Gold traveler loves to sing karaoke in the streets of Tokyo, but also enjoys a chopped cheese in her local bodega. The Champagne traveler loves a slice of pie at her favorite Upstate NY diner in Phoenicia, just as she loves the warmth of her favorite ramen in Los Angeles.
